Orphan Support Project
Assalaam Foundation,Tokyo has taken the monumental challenge of reaching out to orphans and needy children to make them feel that there are people in this world who love and care for them. To ensure that the children attend schools and are not forced to work in child labor activities, Assalaam offers a monthly allowance to widowed mothers to ensure that the basic needs of their children are met. Each orphan or needy child is given a monthly allowance that help them their expense for school tuition, school uniforms, books & stationary. In some cases remains of this allowance can be spent on other needs such as healthcare and food for orphan and needy children to ensure that the bare-minimum needs of school-going children are met.
