What is Shahadah The Shahadah (The Testimony of Faith) in Islam is based on a direct relationship between the individual and the Creator. To become a Muslim, one makes a sincere declaration of faith known as the Shahadah  

ASH-HADU ANNA LA ILAHA ILLA ALLAH WA ASH-HADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN RASULU ALLAH

I bear witness that no one deserves to be worshiped except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah

  • The Testimony: When you feel ready and confident, we can facilitate the formal declaration of faith in a supportive and respectful environment.
  • Certification: For administrative purposes (such as travel for Hajj or personal records), the Foundation issues a Certificate of Conversion and a convenient identification card.
  • Ongoing Community: After your testimony, we remain a resource for you, offering classes and a welcoming community to help you integrate your faith into your daily life in Japan.
